HandinHand supports Table Tennis Association athlete for 2018 Championships

In a simple presentation at the company’s Head Office, Ms Shafeena Juman, Marketing Coordinator proudly hands over sponsorship cheque to Ms Thuraia Thomas.Once again, The Hand-in-Hand Mutual Fire Insurance Company Ltd showed why they are the leading insurance company that supports the talent of our young sportsmen and women.On Tuesday last, the company continued their support to the Guyana Table Tennis Association by sponsoring Guyana’s 2018 National Girls 13 and 15 years Champion, Ms Thuraia Thomas.Ms Thomas will be participating and representing Guyana at the Caribbean Pre Cadet Table Tennis Championships scheduled for the 24-1 September, 2018 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.The Caribbean Cadet and Junior Championships engage girls and boys between the ages of 11 and 13 years and under players in the Caribbean region and forms as the basis for regional table tennis supremacy.It is the incubator for the development of young emerging table tennis talents and a platform from which all regional table tennis stars commence their journey.Ms Thomas is also the winner of the US Open and Caribbean titles and is trained under the tutelage of Coach Dwain Dick, Colin France and Linden Johnson.In a simple presentation at the company’s Head Office, Ms Shafeena Juman, Hand-in-Hand’s Marketing Coordinator expressed delight in once again being able to support the bright and talented athlete and assures that the company will always continue to support the development of sports, especially in the future generations.She also wished Ms Thomas success at the event.Thomas also thanked the company for their longstanding support and promised to bring home the prize.
