Doomsday Clock set at two minutes to midnight as world moves closer

first_imgThe Doomsday Clock which symbolises the current threat of global annihilation, was moved closer to midnight Thursday following a year of growing tensions between North Korea and the Donald Trump. The countdown was established in 1947 by a group of experts who were working on the Manhattan Project, to design and build the first atomic bomb.
