Work with faculty to grow and/orsustain scholarly curricula in financial planning across allprograms at the undergraduate and graduate levels. It offers B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees with anenrollment of approximately 425 undergraduate and 111 graduatestudents. Undergraduate programs include Consumer Economics (withan optional emphasis in Applied Consumer Analytics), ConsumerJournalism, Financial Planning, and Housing Management and Policy(with an optional emphasis in Residential Property Management). TheDepartment is staffed by 22 faculty members with expertise inconsumer decision making, consumer and family policy, financialliteracy, financial planning, housing, and residential propertymanagement. Extension and public service faculty provide practical,research-based information to Georgia residents to improve qualityof lives and communities.
